Dr. David Kershenobich, New Member of the ehCOS Medical Advisory Board

Dr. Kershenobich is one of the pioneers in research on of Hepatitis C in Mexico.
Dr. David Kershenobich, General Director of the Salvador Zubirán National Institute of Medical Sciences and Nutrition in Mexico, joins the ehCOS Medical Advisory Board. NTTDATA continues its commitment to count with renowned industry professionals in different specialties and geographic regions to create innovative solutions. Solutions are being developed with their counseling to improve clinical practice, as well as increase the quality of care and patient safety.
Kershenobich, a surgeon at the National Autonomous University of Mexico and holding a PhD from the University of London, has more than 40 years of experience in the field of Gastroenterology. He has carried out most of his professional career in this field in different capacities such as doctor, professor, scholar and researcher.
His research on the pathophysiology of hepatic cirrhosis has been nationally and internationally recognized. In addition, Dr. Kershenobich is one of the pioneers in research on of Hepatitis C in Mexico.

Dr. Kershenobich joins the seven physicians who are already members of the ehCOS Medical Advisory Board in order to continue working together in the development of eHealth solutions in which the contribution of clinicians is fundamental. Their contribution contributes to the improvement of patient health, but also facilitates the relationship between health professionals and technology, as they help to improve systems so they are intuitive and easy to use for users in health organizations.

Dr. David Kershenobich GENERAL DIRECTOR OF INCMNSZ MEXICO
Specialty: Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology – Pathophysiology of hepatic cirrhosis.
Current position: General Director of the Salvador Zubirán National Institute of Medical Sciences and Nutrition.
Graduated as a Surgeon from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and a Doctor of Medicine from the University of London. He completed his specialty in Hepatology at the Royal Free Hospital in London.
He has received numerous awards and decorations from the General Health Council of the Government of Mexico, an Honorary Degree from the National Autonomous University of Mexico and the National Science Award 2016.
He is currently Advisor to the National Medical Arbitration Commission (CONAMED, for its Spanish initials) and member of the National Human Rights Advisory Council.
